2025 NCAA DII Men's Golf Championship Regional selections Announced

The NCAA has officially announced the field for the 2025 Division II Men’s Golf Championship, setting the stage for the final push toward a national title. Following months of competition across the country, 80 teams and 32 individual student-athletes have earned the opportunity to compete at the regional level.

According to the NCAA’s official release (source), four super regionals will each host 20 teams and eight individuals, with championship aspirations on the line.

Regional Championship Structure

Regional play will be contested over 54 holes across four locations from May 9–11:

  • Atlantic/East Regional – Oglebay Resort (Palmer Course), Wheeling, West Virginia

  • Central/Midwest Regional – KickingBird Golf Course, Edmond, Oklahoma

  • South/Southeast Regional – Kinderlou Forest Golf Club, Valdosta, Georgia

  • West/South Central Regional – Boulder Creek Golf Club, Boulder City, Nevada

At each site, the top four teams and the top two individuals not on advancing teams will qualify for the national championship.

National Championship Information

The 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship will be held May 19–23 at Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Florida.

The championship will feature:

  • Three rounds of stroke play to determine the individual national champion and the top eight teams.

  • Match play to decide the team national champion.

This format has consistently produced dramatic finishes and will once again test the depth, resilience, and skill of the nation's best Division II programs.

Programs and Individuals to Watch

Among the top teams entering regional play are Colorado Christian, West Florida, Lincoln Memorial, and North Georgia, each of which has posted impressive results throughout the 2024–25 season.

In addition to the team competition, several standout individuals will look to make their mark. Talented players from across conferences such as the RMAC, Gulf South, and Peach Belt are expected to contend for individual honors and help propel their programs to championship contention.

Looking Ahead

As regional competition approaches, the margin for error becomes increasingly narrow. A strong performance could extend a season; one misstep could bring it to an end.

Live scoring, updates, and recaps will be available throughout the postseason at NCAA.com, as fans follow the journey toward crowning a national champion in Winter Garden.

The stage is set, and the pursuit of the 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship is officially underway.
