CGN Feature: 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Regionals – Full Fields and Preview

The 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship begins with regional tournaments from May 12–14, where 81 teams and 45 individuals will compete across six sites. The top five teams and the lowest-scoring individual not on an advancing team from each regional will qualify for the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, scheduled for May 23–28.

Advancement Criteria

From each regional, the top five teams and lowest-scoring individual not on an advancing team will qualify for the national championship.


Looking Ahead

The NCAA Championship will take place at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, from May 23–28, 2025. The national finals will feature 30 teams and six individuals competing in 72 holes of stroke play. The top eight teams will advance to match play to determine the team champion. The individual title will be awarded after the stroke play portion concludes.
