The Mocs opened with a 3-under first round before posting a 5-under second round to move to the top of the 17-team field. Georgia and Memphis are tied for second at 7 under, while Vanderbilt sits fourth at 4 under.
North Carolina is fifth at 3 under, followed by South Carolina at 2 under. Liberty, Toledo, Mississippi State and host Tennessee are tied at 1 under.

Toledo’s Zane Aiken, Georgia’s Hamilton Coleman and Virginia Tech’s Sahish Reddy are tied for seventh at 4 under. Mississippi State’s Arth Sinha is part of the group tied for 10th at 3 under.
