College of Charleston captured the team title at the Access, Opportunity, and Development Summit at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, finishing the two-round event at 11 over.
The Cougars opened with a 5-over team score before closing at 6 over to finish eight shots ahead of Charlotte, which placed second at 19 over. Appalachian State finished third at 37 over.
Charleston controlled the individual leaderboard as well, placing four golfers inside the top five. Molly Hardwick tied for second at 2 over, Carys Fennessy finished fourth at 3 over, and Sophie Bingel and Emilie von Finckenstein shared fifth at 4 over.
Charlotte’s Pinky Chaisilprungruang claimed the individual championship at 1 under. She opened with a 3-under round before closing at 2 over to finish three shots ahead of Hardwick and Appalachian State individual Alisa Pressley.
