Clemson and Augusta finished tied atop the leaderboard at the Tiger Classic on Monday at The Walker Golf Course in Clemson, South Carolina, while Augusta’s Sara Adams captured the individual title.
Both teams completed the two-round event at 3 over. Clemson posted rounds of 1 over and 2 over, while Augusta followed an opening 5 over round with a 2 under performance in the second round to pull even with the Tigers.
East Carolina finished one shot behind the co-champions at 4 over after closing with a 3 under second round. West Georgia placed fourth at 8 over, while East Tennessee State rounded out the top five at 10 over.
Adams Takes Individual Title
Adams delivered the best individual performance of the tournament, finishing at 5 under.
After opening with an even par round, the Augusta golfer carded a 5 under second round to move to the top of the leaderboard and secure the individual championship by one shot.
West Georgia’s Emma Baier finished second at 4 under, while UNCG’s Eleanor Burnette and Clemson’s Sarah Uebelhart tied for third at 3 under.

Clemson placed two team competitors inside the top six, led by Uebelhart at 3 under and Naik at 1 under. Augusta countered with the individual champion in Adams and another top 10 finish from Pawichai as the two programs finished level for the team title.
