Several of the newest selections enter the match following strong collegiate and amateur seasons.

Jennings won the NCAA Marana Regional and finished second during stroke play at the NCAA Championship. Hagestad will bring the most Walker Cup experience to the roster with five previous appearances and a 7 and 1 record in singles.
Leng secured his place following a summer that included a Western Amateur championship and runner up finishes at the Northeast Amateur and U.S. Amateur. The Stanford junior reached the championship match at Merion before falling to Jack Whaley 4 and 3 on Sunday.
Max Herendeen was named the first alternate, with Auburn’s Logan Reilly selected as the second alternate.
The United States will face Great Britain and Ireland over two days of singles and foursomes competition. The 2026 match will be the first Walker Cup held at Lahinch.
