Round one of the 2026 Chicago Adaptive Open presented by Illinois Bone and Joint Institute is underway at Fox Bend Golf Course, with CGN and CDGATV providing live coverage throughout the day.
The championship features 84 players representing 25 states and eight countries competing across multiple adaptive golf sport classifications. The event continues to bring together many of the top adaptive golfers from around the world for two days of competition in the Chicago area.
CGN is livestreaming opening round action on its YouTube channel, featuring coverage from across the golf course, player interviews, scoring updates, highlights, and feature stories. The championship marks the third consecutive year that CGN and CDGATV have partnered to provide live and digital coverage of the event.
The broadcast team includes Dan Roan of WGN Sports, Tim Merrick of CDGATV, and Erik Ciotti serving as the on course reporter throughout the weekend.
All competitors in the field have completed the WR4GD certification process, which verifies eligibility for adaptive golf competition based on qualifying physical impairments recognized within adaptive golf.
Coverage will continue throughout round one before shifting to the championship’s final round on June 14, where players will compete for titles across the adaptive divisions at Fox Bend Golf Course.
