Chicago Adaptive Open Showcases 15 Adaptive Sport Classifications Ahead of 2026 Championship

The Chicago Adaptive Open presented by Illinois Bone and Joint Institute will return to Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, Illinois from June 13 to 14, featuring athletes competing across 15 sport classifications recognized by the International Paralympic Committee and WR4GD.

The championship includes golfers with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities competing in Overall Men’s, Women’s, and Senior divisions.

Classifications featured in the field range from upper and lower limb impairments to neurological conditions, visual impairments, and seated golf divisions. The classification system is designed to create balanced and competitive play throughout the championship.

The 2026 field will include 84 players representing 25 states and eight countries.

CGN will once again partner with CDGATV to provide livestream coverage across both rounds of the championship. Saturday coverage will feature opening round tee shots and featured groups, while Sunday’s broadcast will follow players competing during the final round.
