Two rounds are complete at the Mountain West Men’s Golf Championship at Omni Tucson National Resort in Tucson, Arizona, with UNLV taking the lead at 27 under.
UNLV surged into the top spot after posting rounds of 9 under and 18 under. Grand Canyon sits one shot back in second at 26 under, followed by San Diego State at 22 under and Wyoming at 21 under. New Mexico is fifth at 19 under, with San Jose State in sixth at 18 under.
Fresno State and Colorado State are tied for seventh at 13 under. Nevada is ninth at 11 under, while Boise State rounds out the top 10 at 1 under.
In the individual standings, three players are tied for the lead at 10 under. San Diego State’s Tyler Kowack, Grand Canyon’s Måns Boje, and San Diego State’s Harry Takis each share the top position through 36 holes.
Wyoming’s Brody Leid and UNLV’s Zach Little are tied for fourth at 9 under. Grand Canyon’s Nixon Lauritzen is sixth at 8 under. Fresno State’s Jaden Hunter is seventh at 7 under.
Colorado State’s Alessandro Trenta, San Jose State’s Avinash Iyer, and New Mexico’s Emil Albers are tied for eighth at 6 under.
The final round will determine the team champion and individual medalist.
