Eastern Michigan Leads After Two Rounds at Mid American Men’s Golf Championship

Two rounds are complete at the Mid American Men’s Golf Championship at Holliday Farms, with Eastern Michigan holding a narrow lead heading into the final round.

Eastern Michigan sits at 16 over through 36 holes after rounds of 4 over and 12 over. Miami is close behind in second at 17 over with rounds of 12 over and 5 over. Northern Illinois is third at 25 over, followed by Central Michigan at 35 over.

Bowling Green, Ball State, and Kent State are tied for fifth at 39 over. Ohio is eighth at 47 over, with Toledo in ninth at 56 over.

In the individual standings, Northern Illinois’ Patrick Raupp and Eastern Michigan’s Joshua Hess are tied for the lead at even par. Raupp opened at 2 under before a second round 2 over, while Hess posted rounds of 1 under and 1 over.

Eastern Michigan’s Rory Obrien and Toledo’s Bence Kotel are tied for third at 3 over. Miami’s Liam Nelson, Bowling Green’s Angelo Luciani, Eastern Michigan’s Robby Turnbull, and Miami’s Tyler Anderson are tied for fifth at 4 over.

Miami’s Michael Weber is ninth at 5 over. Kent State’s Nolan Haynes rounds out the top 10 at 6 over.

The final round will determine the team champion and individual medalist.
