Stanford secured its first ACC Women’s Golf Championship with a 3 to 0 win over SMU in the match play final at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The top seeded Cardinal closed out the match by taking the first three points on the course. Meja Örtengren earned the opening point with a 4 and 3 win over Grace Jin. Megha Ganne followed with a 3 and 2 victory against Mackenzie Lee to put Stanford in control.

Paula Martín Sampedro, who also earned medalist honors in stroke play, sealed the championship with a 4 and 3 win over Emily Odwin in the final pairing.

Stanford led across all matches early, winning the opening hole in each pairing and maintaining that advantage throughout the round. The remaining matches featuring Andrea Revuelta and Kelly Xu were not completed once the result was decided.

The win marks Stanford as the second consecutive program to capture its first ACC women’s golf title.
