Georgia captured the team championship while Oklahoma’s Ryder Cowan earned the individual title at the 2nd Swing Gopher Invitational, held September 20 and 21 at Windsong Farm in Independence, Minnesota. The NCAA Division I field completed three rounds of competition.
Georgia Claims Team Championship
Georgia finished the tournament at 9 under to earn the team title by six shots over Oklahoma. The Bulldogs opened with a 4 over first round before moving into red numbers with a 2 under second round. Georgia then delivered the best round of its tournament on the final day, shooting 11 under to finish at 9 under overall.
Oklahoma finished second at 3 under, highlighted by a 10 under second round and a 3 under final round. Rutgers placed third at 8 over, while Cincinnati finished fourth at 10 over and Little Rock rounded out the top five at 13 over.

Ryder Cowan Wins Individual Title
Oklahoma’s Ryder Cowan separated himself from the field to capture the individual championship at 13 under. Cowan opened with a 1 over round before taking control with an 8 under second round and closing with a 6 under final round.
Georgia’s Mason Howell finished second at 7 under, six shots behind Cowan. Howell closed with a 7 under final round after rounds of 1 over and 1 under.
Three players shared third at 3 under. Georgia’s JD Culbreth posted rounds of even par, 1 under and 2 under, while Marquette teammates Mischa Candinas and Vinny Cervantes also finished at 3 under.
