The 2026- 2027 college golf season opened with several tournaments across the country, including the New York Harbor Cup, Boilermaker Classic, Augusta Jaguar Fall Invitational and Virtues Intercollegiate. Here is a look at the team and individual champions from the opening week.
New York Harbor Cup
Division: Division I Men’s Golf
Winner: Kansas
Kansas captured the New York Harbor Cup at Bayonne Golf Club in Bayonne, New Jersey, finishing at 25 under to edge Purdue by two strokes.
The Jayhawks opened with a 15 under round and followed with rounds of 7 under and 3 under. Kansas also had two players inside the top three individually.
Arthur Carlier of Kansas and Jenson Forrester of Purdue shared individual medalist honors at 12 under. Carlier posted rounds of 4 under, 3 under and 5 under, while Forrester recorded rounds of 2 under, 7 under and 3 under.

Boilermaker Classic
Division: Division I Women’s Golf
Winner: Miami
Miami won the Boilermaker Classic at Kampen Cosler Golf Course in West Lafayette, Indiana, with a 10 under total.
The Hurricanes entered the final round at even par before closing with a 10 under team performance to finish five strokes ahead of Ole Miss.
Miami’s Scarlett Schremmer earned individual medalist honors at 6 under. She closed with a 5 under final round to finish one stroke ahead of Ole Miss’ Lisa Herman.

Augusta Jaguar Fall Invitational
Division: Division I Men’s Golf
Winner: Augusta
Host Augusta won the Augusta Jaguar Fall Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, finishing at 23 under.
The Jaguars posted a 15 under second round and closed with a 6 under final round to finish 11 strokes ahead of High Point.
Augusta’s Chapman Barnett and Pieter Rossouw shared individual medalist honors at 9 under. Barnett competed as an individual, while Rossouw helped lead the Jaguars to the team championship.

Virtues Intercollegiate
Division: Division I Men’s Golf
Winner: Michigan
Michigan opened its season by winning the Virtues Intercollegiate at The Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio, with a 33 under total.
The Wolverines posted rounds of 14 under, 12 under and 7 under to finish 11 strokes ahead of Miami Ohio and secure their third consecutive Virtues Intercollegiate title.
Michigan’s Nilay Naik won the individual championship at 15 under. Naik opened with consecutive rounds of 6 under before closing with a 3 under final round. He finished four strokes ahead of Miami Ohio’s Bric Baird.
