The 2026 State Open of Virginia will be contested July 17 through July 19 at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Virginia. Conducted by the Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) and the Middle Atlantic PGA (MAPGA), the championship will once again feature many of Virginia’s top amateur and professional golfers.
For the second consecutive year, Championship Golf Network will provide live coverage of the championship. CGN will stream four hours of live coverage during Round Two on July 18 and four hours of live coverage during the Final Round on July 19, featuring live championship action, player interviews, scoring updates, feature stories, and tournament highlights.

CGN’s broadcast team will include play by play coverage throughout the championship. Mike Morrone, PGA Professional will serve as color commentator for the State Open of Virginia broadcasts.
