Tomorrow: CGN to Livestream 100th Texas Junior Amateur from Stonebriar Country Club

With the final round set for tomorrow, Championship Golf Network is preparing to deliver live coverage of the 100th Texas Junior Amateur presented by Edwin Watts Golf Shops from Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas, on July 1.

The 100th Texas Junior Amateur, being contested June 29 through July 1, marks the centennial edition of one of Texas’ longest running and most prestigious junior golf championships. Many of the state’s top junior golfers are competing for one of the most significant titles in Texas junior golf.

Conducted by the Texas Golf Association, the Texas Junior Amateur has served as a launching point for generations of collegiate and professional golfers. Past champions include Jordan Spieth, Ben Crenshaw, Bruce Lietzke, Scott Verplank, and Angela Stanford.

This year’s championship features one of the strongest fields in recent memory. The Boys Division includes Brooks Harper, Aadi Parmar, Mackey Beckett, Isaiah Igo, and Bennett Kuhns, while the Girls Division is highlighted by Megan Lee, Eileen Lee, Michelle Lee, Dresden Bounds, and Quinn Timmerman.

Competition is being contested across both championship courses at Stonebriar Country Club. The Boys Division is playing the Dye Course, while the Girls Division is competing on the Fazio Course. Both championship divisions conclude tomorrow following 54 holes of competition.

For the third consecutive year, the championship serves as an official USGA exemption event. The Boys Division champion will earn an exemption into the 78th U.S. Junior Amateur, while the Girls Division champion will receive an exemption into the 77th U.S. Girls’ Junior Amateur.

CGN’s final round livestream will feature live coverage of the closing seven holes for both championship divisions, along with player interviews, scoring updates, feature stories, and tournament highlights from Stonebriar Country Club.
