The countdown is on for the third annual Chicago Adaptive Open presented by Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, set for June 13 and 14 at Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, Illinois.
The championship will welcome 84 players from 25 states and eight countries, competing across multiple adaptive golf sport classifications recognized by the International Paralympic Committee and WR4GD.
CGN and CDGATV will once again provide livestream and digital coverage throughout championship week, marking the third consecutive year of coverage for the event. Fans can follow the action through player interviews, feature stories, scoring updates, tournament highlights, and live championship broadcasts.
Opening round coverage on June 13 will feature tee shots and selected groups from across the field, while final round coverage on June 14 will focus on the players competing for the title. All livestream coverage will be available free of charge on CGN’s YouTube channel.
The broadcast team will include appearances from Dan Roan of WGN Sports, Tim Merrick of CDGATV, and Tyler Aki of ESPN 1000.
Players in the field have completed the WR4GD certification process, which determines eligibility for adaptive golf competition by verifying impairments that significantly impact a golfer’s ability to play the game.
As the championship approaches, the Chicago Adaptive Open continues to showcase some of the top adaptive golfers in the country while highlighting opportunities for competitive golf at every level.
