Round one of the ACC Men’s Golf Championship is complete at Shark’s Tooth Golf Club, with Stanford out front and William Sides of SMU leading the individual standings.
Stanford leads the field at 13 under after the opening round. Wake Forest sits second at 3 under, followed by North Carolina at 2 under. Georgia Tech is fourth at 1 under, with SMU at even par rounding out the top five. NC State is sixth at 1 over, followed by Louisville at 2 over. Clemson, Virginia, and Florida State are tied for eighth at 3 over.
In the individual standings, William Sides of SMU leads at 6 under after an opening round 66. Stanford’s Edan Cui and Dean Greyserman are tied for second at 4 under, alongside SMU’s Ben Steinmann.
Stanford’s Nathan Wang, Florida State’s Jack Whaley, and Wake Forest’s Tom Haberer are tied for fifth at 3 under. North Carolina’s Carson Bertagnole, Stanford’s Jay Leng, and Virginia’s Ben James round out the top 10 at 2 under.
