Two rounds of the Big South Women’s Golf Championship are complete at Ocean Creek Golf Course at Fripp Island Resort in South Carolina, with High Point in control of the team race and Eva Lye pacing the individual leaderboard.

High Point leads the field at 17 over through 36 holes after rounds of 5 over and 12 over. Radford sits in second at 37 over, followed by Winthrop in third at 39 over. UNC Asheville and Longwood are tied for fourth at 40 over. Charleston Southern is sixth at 47 over, with Gardner Webb seventh at 65 over. Presbyterian is eighth at 67 over, and USC Upstate rounds out the standings at 94 over.

In the individual race, High Point’s Eva Lye leads at 1 under after an opening round of 1 under followed by an even par second round. Teammate Makayla Grubb is second at even par. UNC Asheville’s Caroline Patterson sits third at 2 over after posting the low round of the day with a 5 under second round.

Winthrop’s Constança Mendonça and Charleston Southern’s Eugenie Varet are tied for fourth at 3 over. Gardner Webb’s Georgia Barr is sixth at 4 over. Longwood’s Madison Lehr is seventh at 5 over.

Radford’s Mckenzie Weddle and High Point’s Anaïs Arafi are tied for eighth at 6 over, while Longwood’s Abigail Sheldon holds 10th at 7 over.
