Iona captured the 2026 Metropolis Intercollegiate championship on October 13 at Metropolis Country Club in White Plains, New York, finishing at 27 over par to secure an eight stroke victory over Holy Cross.
The Gaels recorded team rounds of 13 over, 3 over and 11 over across the three round tournament, hosted by Columbia University.
Holy Cross finished second at 35 over, followed by Dartmouth in third at 36 over. Bryant and North Dakota State tied for fourth at 40 over.
Yale placed sixth at 48 over, while Siena finished seventh at 51 over. Host Columbia placed eighth at 54 over.
Bryant’s Chad Correia Wins Individual Championship
Bryant’s Chad Correia claimed individual medalist honors at 2 over par, finishing one stroke ahead of Iona’s Ryan Slevcove.
Correia posted rounds of 7 under, 1 over and 8 over to secure the individual championship at 2 over.
Slevcove finished runner up at 3 over after recording rounds of 2 under, 2 over and 3 over.
Lafayette’s Liam Brandt and Holy Cross’s John Scully tied for third at 5 over, while North Dakota State’s Carter White finished fifth at 6 over.
Five players shared sixth place at 8 over: Iona’s Jennings Oelke, Dartmouth’s Benjamin Wang and Tyler Brand, along with North Dakota State’s Andrew Ballou.
Yale’s Theo Snyder was among the players tied for tenth at 9 over.
