Florida Southern remains No. 1 in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll as the defending national champion prepares to begin its season.
The Mocs received 14 first place votes and 392 points in the September 25 rankings to retain the top position for the second consecutive poll.
North Georgia made a major move into second, followed by Grand Valley State, Lincoln Memorial and Lee in the Top 5.

Florida Southern Remains No. 1
Florida Southern stays atop Division II after also holding the No. 1 position in the September 4 preseason poll.
The Mocs are scheduled to begin their title defense at The National Preview on September 28 and 29.
Florida Southern received 14 of the 17 first place votes included in the latest rankings.
North Georgia Climbs to No. 2
North Georgia made the largest move near the top of the poll, climbing from No. 14 to No. 2.
The Nighthawks received one first place vote and 358 points.
Grand Valley State moved from fourth to third, while Lincoln Memorial climbed four positions from eighth to fourth. Lee moved from second to fifth.
USCA also made a significant move, rising from No. 15 to No. 7.

- Georgia Southwestern — 283 points

Three Programs Enter Top 25
Three teams entered the rankings after receiving votes in the preseason poll.
Flagler enters at No. 17 with 113 points, while Lynn joins at No. 22 with 81 points. Anderson enters at No. 24 with 67 points.
St. Mary’s, Dallas Baptist and Cal State San Marcos dropped out of the Top 25 and are now receiving votes.
Colorado Christian also received one first place vote and moved from No. 18 to No. 12.
The next Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll is scheduled to be released on October 16.
