Oklahoma State captured the team title at the 2026 Sahalee Players Championship, while Washington’s Finn Koelle earned individual medalist honors.
The 54 hole tournament was played September 12 through 13 at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington. Washington hosted the NCAA Division I event.
Oklahoma State Dominates Team Race
Oklahoma State finished at 4 under after rounds of 2 under, 2 over and 4 under. The Cowboys were the only team in the field to finish the championship under par.
Florida finished second at 24 over, giving Oklahoma State a 28 shot victory. Host Washington placed third at 26 over, followed by Illinois at 27 over and Duke at 31 over.
Oklahoma State also placed four golfers inside the top five individually, led by runner up Eric Lee at 5 under.

Koelle Claims Medalist Honors
Washington’s Finn Koelle won the individual championship at 7 under, finishing two strokes ahead of Oklahoma State’s Eric Lee.
Koelle entered the final round at 1 under before closing with a 6 under final round to secure the title. He posted rounds of 2 over, 3 under and 6 under.
Lee finished second at 5 under, while Illinois’ Max Herendeen placed third at 3 under.
Oklahoma State’s depth was evident throughout the individual leaderboard. Gaven Lane finished fourth at 1 under, while Preston Stout and Ethan Fang tied for fifth at 1 over.

Oklahoma State separated itself from a strong field at one of college golf’s demanding venues, finishing 28 strokes clear of second place Florida.
The Cowboys combined their team championship with four top five individual finishes, while Koelle’s closing 6 under round gave host Washington the individual title.
