Clemson sophomore Sarah Uebelhart enters her second collegiate season after making an immediate impact for the Tigers.
The Hünenberg See, Switzerland native led Clemson with a 73.09 scoring average as a freshman and competed in all 12 tournaments. She opened her sophomore season with a T3 finish at the Tiger Classic while helping Clemson share the team title with Augusta.

Immediate Impact at Clemson
Uebelhart earned a spot in Clemson’s lineup for her first collegiate tournament and remained there throughout her freshman season.
She led Clemson with a 73.09 scoring average across 33 rounds, the third best freshman average in program history. Uebelhart added four Top 10 finishes, five rounds in the 60s and eight under par rounds.
Uebelhart told CGN that one of her initial concerns was changing her game too much after arriving in the United States. Instead, she remained committed to her approach while adapting to college golf.
From Switzerland to Clemson
Uebelhart grew up participating in skiing, gymnastics and tennis before becoming more serious about golf around age 12. Her development eventually led to international competition at events including the R&A Girls Championship, British Girls Amateur and European Ladies Amateur.
Those experiences exposed her to different courses and conditions before she moved to the United States. When choosing a college, Uebelhart prioritized academics and competitive golf, with Clemson standing out during her campus visit.
Strong Sophomore Start
Uebelhart spent much of the summer competing for Switzerland before returning to Clemson.
She opened the season at 3 under to tie for third at the Tiger Classic as Clemson and Augusta shared the team championship. Uebelhart said being in contention reinforced her belief that she can compete for collegiate victories.

An economics major, Uebelhart earned WGCA All American Scholar and CSC At Large Academic All District recognition. She credits staying ahead of assignments and setting daily priorities with helping her balance academics and golf.
