With wins in three of their first four tournaments, Emory climbed to No. 1 in the October 10 poll for the first time since October 6, 2023. The Eagles received 15 first place votes and 399 points. Methodist is No. 2, followed by Oglethorpe at No. 3, Carnegie Mellon at No. 4, and Illinois Wesleyan at No. 5. The top ten also includes Huntingdon, Sewanee with one first place vote, Washington and Lee, Aurora, and Kenyon.
