Incoming Arkansas freshman Lev Grinberg captured the 2026 St. Andrews Links Trophy, finishing at 18 under par to secure a seven shot victory at St. Andrews.

Representing France, the Ukrainian born golfer opened the championship with a 66 on the New Course before posting rounds of 66, 67, and 70 on the Old Course. Grinberg entered the weekend with a two shot lead and widened the gap with a bogey free third round 67.

He remained in control during the final round, making four birdies through 13 holes before closing with a 2 under 70. The victory margin matched the largest at the championship since 2012, when Daan Huizing won by 14 shots.

Melvin Muller of the Netherlands finished runner up at 11 under par, seven strokes behind Grinberg.

Along with the championship trophy, Grinberg also claimed the Ian Forbes Memorial Cup, awarded to the player with the lowest 36 hole total.

The four round event was contested across the New Course and Old Course at St. Andrews, with players facing challenging conditions throughout the week.
