TCU’s Hudson and Toby Wilt Claim Tennessee Four Ball Championship Title

CU golfer Hudson Wilt and his brother Toby Wilt captured the 2026 Tennessee Four Ball Championship on Friday, earning a 1 up victory over Evan Spence and Bennett McNabb in the championship match at The Ooltewah Club in Ooltewah, Tennessee.

Entering match play as the No. 8 seed, the Wilt brothers advanced through the bracket before securing the title in a tightly contested final. The championship match came down to the closing hole, where the duo held on for the 1 up victory. According to the Tennessee Golf Association, Hudson and Toby Wilt completed their run through match play after opening with victories of 4 and 3 and 7 and 6 in their first two matches.

The final paired the Nashville brothers against the team of Spence and McNabb from Cleveland and Ringgold. The Wilts emerged as champions after winning the title match by a single hole.

Hudson Wilt recently completed his freshman season at TCU, helping the Horned Frogs advance to NCAA Regional competition while appearing in multiple events during the 2025-26 campaign.

The victory adds another accomplishment to the Wilt family’s amateur golf résumé and gives Hudson Wilt a Tennessee Golf Association championship heading into the summer amateur season.
