Auburn junior Jackson Koivun was named the 2026 Fred Haskins Award winner, becoming the fourth player in college golf history to earn the honor multiple times.
Koivun previously won the award in 2024 and now joins Ben Crenshaw, Bobby Clampett, and Phil Mickelson as the only multiple-time winners of the Haskins Award, which is presented annually to the top player in men’s college golf.
The Auburn standout recorded six victories during the 2026 season, all coming during the spring schedule, and finished the year with 11 career collegiate wins. His total ranks tied for eighth in college golf history.
Koivun edged Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout in the voting after Stout captured the NCAA Division I individual championship at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
Koivun closed his junior season with a tie for 10th finish at the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship while helping Auburn secure the No. 1 seed for match play. Earlier this spring, he also became the second player in SEC history to win three consecutive conference individual titles and broke Tiger Woods’ NCAA scoring record at the Amer Ari Invitational.
Last week, Koivun also became the third player to win the Ben Hogan Award twice.
The Fred Haskins Award presented by Stifel is voted on by college golfers, coaches, sports information directors, and select media members.
