Chicago Adaptive Open Course Preview: Fox Bend Golf Course

Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, Illinois will serve as the host venue for the 2026 Chicago Adaptive Open presented by Illinois Bone and Joint Institute on June 13 and 14.

Located approximately 45 miles west of downtown Chicago, the par 72 layout stretches 6,900 yards and features four par 5s, ten par 4s, and four par 3s. The championship is expected to welcome 84 players representing 25 states and eight countries.

The front nine offers early scoring opportunities with par 5s at Holes 1 and 9, while par 3s at Holes 3 and 6 provide variety throughout the opening side. On the back nine, players will face additional birdie chances on the par 5 14th and 16th holes before finishing on consecutive par 4s at 17 and 18.

Opening round coverage will feature tee shots and selected groups from across the field, while final round coverage will follow players competing for the championship. Livestream coverage will be available free of charge on CGN’s YouTube channel.

The event will also feature appearances from Dan Roan of WGN Sports, Tim Merrick of CDGATV, and Tyler Aki of ESPN 1000.

Players competing in the championship must complete the WR4GD certification process, which verifies that a golfer has an impairment that significantly impacts their ability to play the game and determines eligibility for adaptive golf competition.
