The Women’s Golf Coaches Association released the 2025 and 2026 Division I WGCA All-Freshman Team presented by the AJGA, recognizing five freshmen from across women’s college golf.
Duke’s Rianne Malixi was also selected as the WGCA Freshman of the Year presented by StrackaLine following a standout debut season. Malixi finished the year with a 69.1 adjusted scoring average, one victory, and five top three finishes. Her season included a runner up finish at the ACC Women’s Golf Championship and a third place result during stroke play at the NCAA Division I Women’s Championship. She also earned ACC Freshman of the Year honors.
Pepperdine freshman Kylie Choi earned a spot on the team after recording a 70.2 adjusted scoring average and six top five finishes during the season. Choi was named WCC Freshman of the Year and placed 34th at the NCAA Championship.
Tennessee’s Madison Messimer finished her freshman campaign with a 70.6 adjusted scoring average, one victory, and three top three finishes. Messimer also earned runner up honors at the SEC Women’s Golf Championship and was named SEC Freshman of the Year.
Princeton’s Thanana Kotchasanmanee collected four wins during the season while posting a 70.5 adjusted scoring average. Kotchasanmanee finished 12th at the NCAA Championship and earned both Ivy League Player of the Year and Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors.
Missouri freshman Ebba Liljeberg rounded out the selections after recording one victory and four top three finishes this season. Liljeberg finished 30th at the NCAA Championship and earned All SEC Freshman Team recognition.
