Emory Maintains Lead Through Three Rounds at NCAA Division III Women’s Championship

Emory remained in front through three rounds of the NCAA Division III Women’s National Championship at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. The Eagles stayed at 6 over after an even par third round and hold a one shot lead entering the final round.

Carnegie Mellon moved into second at 7 over after posting the low team round of the day at 3 under. New York remains third at 17 over, while Washington and Lee sits fourth at 18 over. Middlebury climbed into fifth at 29 over, followed by Pomona Pitzer at 30 over and Williams at 31 over. Claremont Mudd Scripps is eighth at 32 over, while Washington St. Louis and Amherst are tied for ninth at 34 over.

Carnegie Mellon golfer Emma Wong moved into the individual lead at 4 under after a 3 under third round. Carleton golfer Carter Sichol is second at 3 under.

New York golfer Jiayi “Yoyo” Fu and Middlebury golfer Ella Han are tied for third at 2 under. Trinity Texas individual Jessica Mason and Carnegie Mellon golfer Alyssa Lim share fifth at 1 under. Piedmont golfer Erin Donovan and Emory golfer Carys Code are tied for seventh at even par, while Emory golfer Zimo Li is ninth at 1 over. Southern Virginia individual Sydney Richards rounds out the top 10 at 2 over.
