Wyoming claimed the team title at the Golfweek NGI Women’s Championship at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club, finishing at 9 over after rounds of 287, 289, and 297. The Cowboys closed four shots ahead of Denver, which finished runner up at 17 over.
Wyoming’s 54 hole total of 873 also set a new NGI tournament record, surpassing the previous mark of 13 over 877 established by Rutgers in 2024.
Denver posted the lowest final round among the top teams with a 4 over 292 to finish second. Rutgers placed third at 28 over, while Mercer and Lipscomb rounded out the top five. Bowling Green finished sixth at 36 over, followed by Stetson at 38 over and Bradley at 39 over. Coastal Carolina and Missouri State completed the top 10.
Bowling Green’s Addison Kartusch earned medalist honors at 7 under after rounds of 71, 68, and 70. Wyoming’s Kiley Reisner finished second at 3 under, while Denver’s Anna Neumayer placed third at even par.
Stetson’s Bridget Butler, Denver’s Kaitlin Zingler, and Wyoming’s Elle Higgins tied for fourth at 1 over. Mercer’s Tylar Whiting and Wyoming’s Meghan Vogt shared seventh at 2 over, while Lipscomb’s Casey Yu and Denver’s Raegan Capizzi tied for ninth at 3 over.
