South Dakota sits atop the team standings at even after the opening round. North Dakota State is second at 2 over. Denver and Kansas City are tied for third at 4 over. South Dakota State, St. Thomas, and Omaha are tied for fifth at 5 over. Oral Roberts stands eighth at 8 over, followed by North Dakota in ninth at 11 over.
In the individual standings, four players share the lead at 3 under. Denver’s Jet Hernandez, North Dakota State’s Andrew Ballou, St. Thomas’ Owen Rexing, and South Dakota’s Parker Etzel each posted opening rounds of 3 under.
Omaha’s Spencer Clatt is fifth at 2 under. Kansas City’s Harry Bent, South Dakota’s Jack Holtz, and Oral Roberts’ Gustav Liljeberg are tied for sixth at 1 under. North Dakota’s Nate Peyerl and Kansas City’s Saxxon Ford are tied for ninth at even par.
