Kent State secured the 2026 MAC Women’s Golf Championship at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, finishing at 9 under to claim the team title. The Golden Flashes posted rounds of 2 under, 2 under, and 5 under to separate from the field and close out the championship.
Eastern Michigan finished second at 13 over, followed by Bowling Green at 22 over. Ball State placed fourth at 32 over, with Akron rounding out the top five at 49 over.
Kent State controlled the tournament throughout all three rounds and added multiple players inside the top of the individual leaderboard to secure the win.
Individually, Kent State’s Veronika Kedroňová earned medalist honors at 7 under with rounds of 3 under, 1 under, and 3 under. Teammate Gracie Larsen finished second at 2 under. Eastern Michigan’s Savannah de Bock placed third at even par.
Kent State also placed Leon Takagi in a tie for fourth at 1 over, while Petra Babicová finished tied for ninth at 4 over, giving the Golden Flashes four players inside the top ten.
