Presbyterian Leads Big South Men’s Championship After Round Two, Hartley and John Share Individual Lead
Round two of the Big South Men’s Golf Championship is complete at Ocean Creek Golf Course at Fripp Island Resort in Saint Helena Island, South Carolina, with Presbyterian moving into the lead at 2 under. Matthew Hartley of Longwood and Dewi John of Charleston Southern share the individual lead at 5 under.
In the team standings, Presbyterian leads at 2 under through two rounds. High Point sits second at 3 over. Longwood and USC Upstate are tied for third at 5 over. Gardner Webb and Winthrop are tied for fifth at 6 over. Radford and Charleston Southern are tied for seventh at 9 over.
In the individual standings, Matthew Hartley of Longwood and Dewi John of Charleston Southern are tied for first at 5 under. Alec Prentice of USC Upstate and Jeep Patrick of Presbyterian are tied for third at 3 under. Gardner Webb’s Jack Boyer is fifth at 2 under. James Rhodes and Spence Hagood of Presbyterian, along with Ashton Eubanks and Dylan Park of Winthrop, are tied for sixth at 1 under. Gardner Webb’s Jude Carper rounds out the top 10 at even par.
