Ben Hogan Award Semifinalists Announced for 2026 Season

The semifinalists for the 2026 Ben Hogan Award presented by Baird have been announced, recognizing 10 of the top collegiate players in men’s golf.

The list includes Mahanth Chirravuri of Pepperdine, Ryder Cowan of Oklahoma, Ethan Fang of Oklahoma State, Filip Jakubcik of Arizona, Ben James of Virginia, Jackson Koivun of Auburn, Christiaan Maas of Texas, Preston Stout of Oklahoma State, Harry Takis of San Diego State, and Tyler Weaver of Florida State.

James and Koivun appear on the semifinalist list for the third consecutive year, while Maas earns his second straight selection. Koivun, the 2024 recipient, is the only player in the field with prior finalist experience.

The group features four seniors, five juniors, and one sophomore, with representation across five conferences. The Big 12 and SEC each place three players on the list, and Oklahoma State is the only program with multiple semifinalists. Six of the nine represented schools have previously produced a Ben Hogan Award winner.

Three finalists will be announced on May 12, with the winner set to be named May 25 at TCU Legends Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Ben Hogan Award recognizes the top collegiate golfer across NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA competition, factoring in results from collegiate, amateur, and professional events over the previous 12 months. The award is presented annually by Fort Worth Colonial Charities, Friends of Golf, and the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Since its inception, past winners have gone on to record significant success at the professional level, including dozens of PGA TOUR victories. The award has also contributed more than one million dollars to golf organizations and scholarship programs.
