With the spring portion of the college golf season underway, the race for the 2026 Haskins Award continues to develop as several players across Division I programs have produced strong results through the first half of the year.
The Haskins Award presented by Stifel is given annually to the top player in men’s college golf. Voting is conducted by college golfers, coaches, and members of the college golf media. The spring watch list identifies players who have delivered consistent performances in stroke play events during the season.
Among the programs represented, Texas Tech and Virginia each placed three players on the watch list, the most of any schools included.
San Diego State sophomore Harry Takis enters the spring as the No. 1 ranked amateur in the country and is one of 20 players recognized on the list.
