Round two of the Cabo Collegiate concluded Monday at Twin Dolphin Club in Cabo San Lucas, with Arkansas moving into the team lead while Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout holds the top position on the individual leaderboard.
After Oklahoma State led the field following round one, Arkansas surged ahead with a -14 team round to move to -17 overall and take the lead entering the final round.
Oklahoma State sits second at -14, followed by Arizona State in third at -11. Rice holds fourth at -8, while Ole Miss rounds out the top five at -5.
Tennessee stands sixth at -4, while Arizona is seventh at +1. Georgia Tech sits eighth at +3, followed by Florida State in ninth at +4. Stanford completes the top ten at +5.
Individually, Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout leads the field at -12 after rounds of 68 and 64.
California’s Ziqin Zhou, Arkansas’ Gerardo Gomez, Arizona State’s Michael Mjaaseth, and Arkansas’ Erich Fortlage are tied for second at -6.
Rice’s Henry Daly, Ole Miss’ Tom Fischer, and Georgia Tech’s Hiroshi Tai are tied for sixth at -5. Rice’s Raines Watson and Arkansas’ Thomas Curry are tied for ninth at -4.
With one round remaining, Arkansas holds a 3-shot advantage heading into the final round at Twin Dolphin Club.
