Dave Marr III and Taft Gantt Named Lead Broadcasters for CGN Coverage of the GameAbove Golf Invitational

Championship Golf Network will provide live coverage of the GameAbove Golf Invitational on March 9 and 10, streaming round two and the final round from Rolling Hills Country Club in Rolling Hills Estates, California. Hosted by the University of Southern California and Eastern Michigan University, the championship features a strong collegiate field competing at one of Southern California’s premier venues.

The GameAbove Golf Invitational serves as an important early spring measuring point as teams prepare for conference play and postseason competition. CGN’s livestream coverage will feature real time scoring, featured groups, and key moments throughout the final two rounds as the championship unfolds.

CGN has announced that veteran broadcaster Dave Marr III will serve as the play by play announcer, alongside Taft Gantt as the on course announcer.

Marr III brings more than two decades of experience across television, radio, and digital platforms. He spent 17 years with Golf Channel covering PGA Tour Champions and hosting instructional programming. His broadcast resume also includes work with FOX Sports, SiriusXM Radio, and ABC Sports. Marr III previously worked with CGN during its coverage of the Sunnehanna Amateur.

Gantt is a digital producer and on course announcer with CBS Sports. His experience includes major championships, Final Fours, and national golf events, along with coverage for organizations such as the USGA and Carolinas Golf Association. Gantt has also been part of CGN broadcasts, including coverage of the North and South Amateur.

With Marr III and Gantt leading the broadcast, CGN will deliver comprehensive coverage and professional commentary as the field competes for the title at Rolling Hills.
