Greyserman Wins Silicon Valley Amateur After Final Round at Stanford

The Silicon Valley Amateur concluded Wednesday at Stanford University Golf Course, marking the first time the championship was contested at The Farm. Dean Greyserman closed out the event on his home course, capturing the title at twelve under par.

Greyserman carded a four under par 68 in the final round to finish at 198. He opened the tournament with rounds of 64 and 66 before converting his 36 hole lead with a steady closing performance. The Boca Raton Florida native maintained control throughout the final round as scoring conditions improved and pressure built from within the field.

Stanford freshman Edan Cui finished second at ten under par after posting a three under par 67 on Wednesday. Cui followed his second round 64 with another consistent round to complete a Cardinal one two finish in the tournament’s Stanford debut.

Branden Wong placed third at three under par 207. Nathan Wang finished fourth at two under par, while Jackson Suh rounded out the top five at one under par. Suh also earned Low Mid Am honors after closing with a 69.

Stanford placed four players inside the top ten, with Greyserman, Cui, Wang, and Ethan Gao all finishing among the leaders. Gao closed with an even par 70 to finish tenth at four over par.

Samson Li finished sixth at one over par 211. Frederick Egnatios and Ryan Pupach tied for seventh at two over par, while Christian Choi placed ninth at three over par.
