Reed Greyserman Named Florida Amateur Player of the Year

Princeton sophomore Reed Greyserman has been named Florida Amateur Player of the Year after a standout season capped by a breakthrough victory at the 108th Florida Amateur Championship at BallenIsles Country Club.

Greyserman rallied with a final round 68 and won on the first playoff hole after opening with rounds of 74 and 75. The victory made history as he and his brother Dean became the first siblings to win the Florida Amateur Championship. The win also earned Greyserman an exemption into the U.S. Amateur Championship, where he advanced to the Round of 64 at Olympic Club and added key points in the Player of the Year race.

At Princeton, the Boca Raton native delivered a strong collegiate campaign highlighted by medalist honors at the St. Andrews Intercollegiate. He tied the program record for lowest round to par with a 6 under performance and won the event by four shots, continuing his upward trajectory at the NCAA level.
