U.S. Athletic Performance announced Oscar Couilleau and Sara Brentchenef as its 2025 Junior Players of the Year, recognizing two international standouts for their performances across top amateur and professional level events.

Couilleau, an Arizona State commit who trains at Golf de Saint Nom la Bretèche in France, earned the junior boys honor following a season highlighted by a No. 73 ranking in the World Amateur Golf Ranking and a No. 3 position in the French men’s rankings. His year included a victory at the Monroe Invitational, a third place individual finish at the Western Texas Amateur Championship, and a made cut at the Amateur Championship. He also competed on the PGA Tour at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship and represented France at the Junior Ryder Cup and the French National Team Championship.

Brentchenef, an Arkansas commit who competes out of Golf Club de Lyon, was recognized on the girls side after rising to No. 29 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking and No. 1 in the French women’s rankings. Her season included a 13th place individual finish at the Western Texas Amateur Championship, a made cut at the U.S. Women’s Amateur, a top 28 finish at the Jabra Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour, and a win at the Super Bock Ladies Open on the LET Access Series. She also represented France at the Junior Ryder Cup and helped secure a French National Team Championship title.
