Ayden Fynaut captured the Jones Cup Junior Invitational title with a wire to wire performance at Sea Island’s Seaside Course on St. Simons Island, Georgia. The Pepperdine commit finished at ten under par after rounds of 66, 69, and a closing 65 to secure a decisive victory against one of the strongest invitation only junior fields in the country.

Fynaut delivered his best round of the week on the final day, posting a five under 65 to pull away from the field. He played steady throughout the championship and separated himself on Sunday with matching nines of 33 and 32. His three round total of 200 marked the lowest score of the tournament and capped a complete performance from start to finish.

Max Emberson finished second at four under par. The Oklahoma commit closed with a four under 66 to post a 206 total. Sage Bradshaw of Wake Forest and Cody Guetzke of Wisconsin tied for third at three under par.

Lucas Gimenez placed fifth at two under, followed by Jackson Ormond at one under. Bodie Brumlow and Bear Dollander finished tied for seventh at even par. Colt Farrow and Rory Asselta rounded out the top ten.

With the win, Fynaut adds his name to the list of Jones Cup Junior champions and closes the year with a statement performance on a championship venue.
