Twelve Players Invited to USA Curtis Cup Practice Session at Bel Air Country Club

The USGA has announced twelve players invited to a practice session for the 2026 Curtis Cup Match. The session will take place January 16 to 18 at Bel Air Country Club in Los Angeles, the host site of the 2026 Curtis Cup.

Four of the invited players competed for the United States in the 2024 Curtis Cup at Sunningdale. The group includes returning team members Anna Davis, Jasmine Koo, Catherine Park and Asterisk Talley.

The invited players are:

  • Anna Davis, Auburn
  • Kary Hollenbaugh, Ohio State
  • Jasmine Koo, USC
  • Chloe Kovelesky, Wake Forest
  • Farah O’Keefe, Texas
  • Macy Pate, Wake Forest
  • Catherine Park, USC
  • Kiara Romero, Oregon
  • Andie Smith, Duke
  • Asterisk Talley, high school class of 2027
  • Kelly Xu, Stanford
  • Avery Weed, Mississippi State

Romero enters the session as the top ranked amateur in the world and the 2025 McCormack Medal winner, which secures her a position on the 2026 United States team.

Koo and Talley each posted 2-1-1 records during the 2024 Curtis Cup. Park and O’Keefe recently represented the United States at the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship in Singapore, where the team earned the gold medal.

The final roster will include eight players. An invitation to the January session does not guarantee selection, and players who were not invited remain eligible for consideration.

One notable omission is 2025 United States Women’s Amateur champion Megha Ganne. The Stanford senior is exempt into the 2026 United States Women’s Open at Riviera the week before the Curtis Cup. Her status will depend on whether she remains an amateur after her final collegiate season.

Meghan Stasi will return as captain of the United States team. The 44th Curtis Cup will be played June 12 to 14, 2026 at Bel Air Country Club.
