TCU will host the 2026 Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational Presented by Charles Schwab on Sept. 28 and 29 at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
The NCAA Division I event features a 16 team field, with TCU joined by Arizona State, Stanford, Texas Tech, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma State, Alabama, UCLA, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, Pepperdine, Auburn, Oklahoma, Virginia and Georgia Tech.
Seven of the eight teams that advanced to match play at the 2026 NCAA Championships are included in this year’s field, according to TCU.

Ben Hogan Collegiate Returns to Colonial
The tournament was created to honor Ben Hogan and his five victories at the Colonial National Invitational. The event brings college golf to Colonial Country Club, the Fort Worth venue closely connected to Hogan’s career.
The Ben Hogan Foundation notes that the tournament has featured players who later became prominent professionals, including Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth and Will Zalatoris.
The individual title also carries an opportunity beyond college golf. In 2025, individual champion Albert Hansson of Georgia Tech earned an invitation to compete in the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge. Charles Schwab described the invitation as a way to connect high level collegiate competition with the professional stage.
