Stroke play concluded Tuesday at the 2026 Jackson T. Stephens Cup at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, Texas, with Texas Men’s Golf and Wake Forest Women’s Golf securing the top seeds for match play.
The individual competition also produced co medalists on both sides. Texas teammates Daniel Bennett and Matt Comegys shared the men’s title at 9 under, while Wake Forest’s Macy Pate and Texas’ Farah O’Keefe shared the women’s championship at 4 under.
Texas Men’s Golf Takes Top Seed
Texas dominated the men’s stroke play competition, finishing at 25 under, 21 strokes ahead of Texas A&M. Rice finished third at 2 under, while Utah secured the fourth match play position at 25 over.

Wake Forest Women’s Golf Earns Top Seed
Wake Forest moved into first during the final round and finished at 6 under, two strokes ahead of South Carolina. Oregon finished third at 8 over, while Texas secured the fourth match play position at 19 over.
