Georgia Tech and Max Emberson completed a wire-to-wire run at the 2026 Folds of Honor Collegiate, capturing the team and individual championships at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan.
The 54-hole tournament was played September 7 through 9. Georgia Tech finished at 18 under to win by five shots, while Emberson posted an 11-under total to earn medalist honors by two strokes.
Georgia Tech Completes Championship Run
Georgia Tech entered the final round with the team lead and closed with a 6-under performance to finish at 18 under. The Yellow Jackets recorded rounds of 12 under, even par and 6 under during the three-day event.
Notre Dame and Texas shared second at 13 under, five shots behind Georgia Tech. Cincinnati made a final-round charge with a 10-under round to finish fourth at 10 under, while Alabama placed fifth at 8 under.
Ohio State and Michigan State tied for sixth at 3 under. Kansas finished eighth at 1 under, followed by Northwestern at 3 over and Grand Valley State at 11 over.

Emberson Goes Wire to Wire for Medalist Honors
Emberson entered the final round with the individual lead and finished the job with a 4 under closing round. After opening with an 8 under performance and shooting 1 over in Round Two, the Georgia Tech standout finished the tournament at 11 under.
Texas’ Daniel Bennett finished second at 9 under after closing with a 3 under round. Kansas’ William Baker placed third at 8 under, while Ohio State’s Vaughn Harber finished fourth at 7 under.
Notre Dame’s Jacob Modleski rounded out the top five at 6 under. Georgia Tech’s Albert Hansson, Cincinnati’s Timmy Hollenbeck and Notre Dame’s Liam Pasternak shared sixth at 5 under.

Georgia Tech Sweeps Titles at American Dunes
Georgia Tech leaves Grand Haven with both championships after leading the team competition from the opening round through the finish. Emberson followed the same path individually, turning his opening round lead into an 11 under winning total.
The Yellow Jackets’ five shot team victory and Emberson’s two shot individual win capped three rounds of competition at American Dunes.
