Stanford Assistant Brooke Riley Receives Inaugural WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year Award

Stanford assistant coach Brooke Riley was named the inaugural Golf Pride WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.

The award recognizes assistant coaches for leadership, preparation, and contributions to student athlete development and team success.

Riley has helped guide Stanford to the top head to head record in women’s college golf during her four seasons with the program. The Cardinal compiled a 507 20 5 record in head to head competition during that stretch while also recording 28 team victories and 23 individual wins.

Stanford added another NCAA Women’s Golf Championship this season after finishing 129 3 in head to head scoring, including a 3 0 record during match play at the national championship.

The 2026 title marked Riley’s second NCAA Championship with the Cardinal. Stanford also captured two conference championships and four NCAA Regional titles during her time on staff.
