Georgia’s Trinity Beth moved into the lead after round two of the Sea Island Women’s Amateur on Friday at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
Beth followed her opening round 69 with a second round 67 to reach 8 under par through 36 holes.
UTSA alum Morgan Ellison sits alone in second place at 6 under after posting back to back rounds of 69.
Florida’s Addison Klonowski moved into third at 5 under following a second round 69.
Three players are tied for fourth at 4 under, including Purdue’s Samantha Brown, Texas golfer Bentley Cotton, and Scarlett Schremmer. Cotton recorded the low round of the day with a 7 under 65.
Ole Miss golfer Sophie Linder, Tulsa’s Samantha Olson, and LSU’s Raegan Denton are tied for seventh at 3 under entering the final round.
