Dallas Baptist University moved into the lead through two rounds of the NCAA Division II Women’s National Championship at PGA National Resort, sitting at 11 over after a 1 under second round.
Wingate University is one shot back in second at 12 over after rounds of 299 and 289. Anderson University and California State University San Marcos are tied for third at 26 over, while St. Mary’s University rounds out the top five at 29 over.
University of Findlay sits sixth at 31 over, followed by Missouri St. Louis at 34 over. UT Tyler is eighth at 40 over, while Tampa and Ferris State round out the top 10 at 41 over and 45 over respectively.
Wingate’s Amely Bochaton extended her individual lead to 9 under after rounds of 68 and 67 through 36 holes.
Henderson State individual Lily Nelson and DBU’s Ella Cheek are tied for second at 1 under. Findlay’s Hayley Dye sits fourth at even par.
St. Mary’s golfer Taylor Wilczek and DBU’s Chloe Sirkin are tied for fifth at 2 over. SE Oklahoma State individual Carley Button and Anderson’s Olivia Roberts are tied for seventh at 3 over.
Lander individual Kajsa Lindqvist and Anderson’s Aly Francis are tied for ninth at 4 over to complete the top 10.
