San Diego State Leads Mountain West Men’s Championship After Round One, Tyler Kowack Holds Individual Lead

Round one of the Mountain West Men’s Golf Championship is complete at Omni Tucson National Resort in Tucson, Arizona, with San Diego State setting the pace at 15 under.

San Diego State leads the team standings at 15 under after the opening round. Wyoming is second at 13 under, followed by San Jose State at 11 under. Grand Canyon sits fourth at 10 under, with UNLV in fifth at 9 under. Nevada is sixth at 8 under, followed by New Mexico at 6 under, Colorado State at 5 under, Fresno State at 2 under, and Boise State at 1 under.

In the individual standings, San Diego State’s Tyler Kowack leads at 7 under. A group of five players are tied for second at 5 under, including Grand Canyon’s Nixon Lauritzen and Måns Boje, Wyoming’s Brody Knowlton and Brody Leid, and UNLV’s Trevor Lewis.
