The West Coast Conference Men’s Golf Championship continued through two rounds at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, California, with Pepperdine holding the team lead heading into the final round.
Pepperdine sits at 16 under through 36 holes, following rounds of 7 under and 9 under. San Diego is close behind at 14 under after posting the low second round of the day at 12 under. Augusta holds third at 11 under, while San Francisco is fourth at 5 under.
Pacific is fifth at 4 under, followed by Oregon State and Washington State tied for sixth at 2 under. Seattle and Saint Mary’s are tied for eighth at 1 under, and Loyola Marymount rounds out the top 10 at 2 over.
In the individual standings, San Diego’s Ian Maspat leads at 10 under after rounds of 3 under and 7 under. Augusta’s Bo Blanchard, Oregon State’s Nguyen Anh Minh, and Pepperdine’s Mahanth Chirravuri are tied for second at 6 under.
A group tied for fifth at 5 under includes Seattle’s Jacob Kang, Washington State’s Dylan Boenning, Pepperdine’s Brady Siravo, and San Francisco’s Renato Naula. Pacific’s Deitrek Gill and Augusta’s Stefan Jacobs are tied for ninth at 4 under.
The final round is set for Saturday as teams compete for the conference title and positioning for postseason play.
